The problem

Event teams share passwords — and with them, security and oversight.

In legacy ticketing tools, multi-user is often a premium feature or non-existent. Result: organizers share one account with the whole team, no one knows who changed what, and at the first security incident the chaos is complete.

Door staff who only need the scanner app get full access — including sales numbers, buyer data, and payment info. That's neither GDPR-compliant nor operationally sensible.

The solution

Magic-link invitations with clear roles.

Tickable ships with four well-thought-out standard roles, magic-link invitations, and a complete audit log. Every team member sees only what they need for their job — and nothing more.

Owner: full access incl. billing and account deletion

Admin: all events, all sales, no billing rights

Manager: edit assigned events, no global access

Door staff: scanner app only, no buyer data

Magic-link invite — no password, no setup questions

Audit log: every action with timestamp and user

How it works

From lead to productive team member in 60 seconds.

Magic-link makes onboarding a non-event.

  1. 01

    Enter email

Type team member's email in dashboard, choose role.

  2. 02

    Magic link is sent

Invited person instantly gets an email with login link.

  3. 03

    Click — logged in

No password, no setup. Straight in dashboard with correct permissions.

Features

Multi-user features that work in operations day-to-day.

Not just 'multiple logins' — but real team workflow tools.

4 standard roles

Owner, admin, manager, door staff — covering 95% of use cases.

Custom permissions (Enterprise)

For complex structures: granular permissions at event, action, and data level.

Magic-link invite

No password setup, no 'confirm your email' steps. Click and in.

SSO optional (Enterprise)

Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra, Okta for enterprise customers.

Audit log

Every action (event changed, refund triggered, ticket scanned) with user and timestamp.

Active sessions

See which devices are currently logged in. Force-logout on demand.

2FA

Two-factor authentication optional per user.

GDPR account deletion

When someone leaves, their account can be fully removed — audit log stays anonymized.

Use cases

How organizers use team & roles.

From the solo organizer with door staff to the 50-person festival team.

Solo organizers

Door staff as external helpers

Solo organizers in Berlin invite 4–5 door staff per event who only use the scanner app.

Festivals

Large operations team

Festivals in Vienna work with 30+ team members — marketing, ops, tech, each with their own role.

"Before we had one account that 12 people shared. Everyone could do everything, no one dared to change anything. Today everyone has their role — and security is enormously better."

Why team features decide event-operations success.

Events are team sports. Even small events need marketing, sales, door staff and accounting — and all must access the same data in coordination. Legacy ticketing tools have ignored this reality: one account, one password, one mess.

Tickable was conceived from day 1 as a multi-user platform. Magic-link invitations, granular roles, and a complete audit log turn any event team — regardless of size — into a securely and traceably operating unit.

GDPR and multi-user: why granular permissions are mandatory.

GDPR requires that staff have access only to personal data needed for their task. Door staff need scan — not buyer addresses. Marketing needs sales numbers — not Stripe config. Tickable maps this requirement natively.

Magic-link instead of passwords — why that's a security gain.

Passwords get shared, reused, and forgotten. Magic links are one-time, bound to email, and auto-expiring. That eliminates the most common attack vectors in SaaS environments — and makes onboarding faster at the same time.

FAQ

Team & roles — every question.

How many team members can I invite?

Unlimited on the Professional plan. One team member on the Starter plan.

Can door staff see my sales numbers?

No. Door staff see only the scanner function. Sales numbers, buyer data, and refunds are not visible to them.

Does SSO work with my Google Workspace?

Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra, and Okta are supported.

What happens when someone leaves the team?

You can deactivate the account in seconds or fully delete. The audit log stays anonymized.

Can a manager see only certain events?

Yes. Managers can be assigned at the event level — they see only the events assigned to them.
