Multiple gates, high frequency
Festivals across Berlin and Amsterdam use 20โ40 parallel scanner devices for main entrances.
The Tickable scanner app runs on any smartphone โ iOS, Android or web โ and scans 200+ tickets per minute per scanner. With live stats, multi-device sync, and full offline mode.
Long lines at the entrance are the #1 cause of negative reviews after an event. Buyers who miss their concert because entry took 45 minutes don't come back.
Legacy scanner solutions require expensive hardware, aren't offline-capable, and collapse the moment 5,000+ people show up at once. Organizers fall back to printed lists โ and become victims of double entries and ticket fraud.
Tickable turns every iPhone, Android phone, or tablet into a professional entry scanner. Multiple scanners work in parallel and sync in real-time โ even without internet.
App for iOS and Android, web variant as backup
Offline mode: tickets are validated locally and synced later
Live sync between devices: a ticket scanned at gate A is instantly blocked at gate B
Door-staff mode with minimal permissions
Live check-in rate in the organizer dashboard
Sound and haptic feedback on valid / invalid / already used
Door staff need to know nothing except: open app, scan.
From App Store or Play Store. Works on any smartphone since 2018.
Magic link via SMS or email โ no password, no setup.
Door staff pick their gate โ Tickable tracks stats per gate.
Camera on the QR code, green check, next guest. 200/minute is realistic.
What expensive hardware scanners can do โ and what we do better.
No signal in the festival field? No problem. Scans validate locally and sync later.
Any number of scanners in parallel. Tickets are marked 'used' across all devices in real-time.
Already-redeemed tickets show red instantly โ even in offline mode with conflict resolution.
Organizer sees in dashboard live, how many people per minute pass through which gate.
Door staff see only the scan function โ no sales numbers, no buyer data.
If a QR is damaged: search buyer by name or email and admit manually.
Scanner reads Apple and Google Wallet tickets natively, no extra config.
Bluetooth scanner supported as input device โ for high-frequency gates.
From small clubs to mega festivals.
Festivals across Berlin and Amsterdam use 20โ40 parallel scanner devices for main entrances.
Clubs in Berlin and Paris scan tickets and check the guest list at the same time.

Conferences in Stockholm scan tickets and immediately print the matching badge.
Why hardware scanners no longer make sense for 99% of organizers.

| Setup | App download, done | On-site config, training |
| Offline mode | Standard | Often unavailable |

| Wallet-compatible | Apple & Google native | Often print-QR only |
| Scaling | Add devices freely | Buy more hardware |
"We let 12,000 people through six gates in 90 minutes. No crash, no line, no double scans. That was unthinkable with our old hardware system."
The entrance is the first physical touchpoint between your event and your buyer. If this moment works โ fast, friendly, professional โ the event starts positively. If it fails, the mood is ruined before the first note plays.
Tickable was built with the ambition that every organizer โ whether 200-person club in Vienna or 80,000-person stadium in London โ gets the same entry standard as the world's top-1% festivals. Without expensive hardware, without weeks of training.
Our scanner pipeline is optimized to under 100 milliseconds per scan โ measured from QR read to result display. In practice, trained door staff hit 200 scans per minute per device. With 10 scanners in parallel, that's 120,000 people per hour.
In a festival field, there's no reliable network. Tickable preloads the ticket database onto every device before the event and validates locally. Devices later sync among each other via Bluetooth/WiFi mesh or on first internet contact. Double scans are detected and reported in the organizer dashboard.
